Fly Tying Awards From England and Norway

In the last week I received an award certificate for winning First Place in the 2008 British and International Fly Tying Competition in the 16 and Under category. I also took a Runner-Up award in the Dry Fly and Terrestrial category with a Dun Quill dry fly in this competition. Complete results are at http://www.thespringflyfishingshow.com/bifc.html .

I also received an award for a Second Place finish in the 2008 Mustad Scandinavian Fly Tying Open Junior division with a Quill Gordon dry fly that I submitted. This was the first time I have ever entered any kind of fly tying contest and it was a lot of fun but also a lot of hard work to tie my best flies.
