Kid's Fly Fishing Class At Anglers All - Denver Road Trip

Yesterday I taught another kid's fly fishing class at Anlgers All in Denver, Colorado. It was a great class. All the kids had fun and were excited to be learning about fly fishing. We covered casting, gear, flies, entomology and of course the fish. I will be teaching one more kid's fly fishing class at Anglers All on Saturday August 15th. So if you live near Denver and know of kids that would be interested get in touch with the people at Anglers All to sign them up.

My sister Ava went with me and my dad on our road trip to Denver and she helped get the rods and reels ready for the class. When we were driving to Denver early in the morning the mountains looked so beautiful. We also fished some small ponds before we drove back home to Montrose. The fishing was slow but it sure was great to out on the water after talking about it all day in the class! Then on our drive home we saw a mother moose and her two young ones. These are a few pictures from my day. Hope you enjoy them.

Here are the mountains when we were driving to Denver.

Everyone having a great time learning how to fly cast.

Congratulations!!! Everyone did a great job and had a really fun day.

Thank you to Terry, Lori, Gary and Chris at Anglers All for helping to make these classes fun for the kids and for getting more kids into fly fishing.
