I learned a lesson just a couple weeks ago while fishing on the Taylor River with my dad. It was very cold all day even though the sun was out. Neither one of us thought about putting sunscreen on when we were rigging up our rods and getting into our waders and warm gear in the morning. All that snow on the river banks really reflected the suns rays and we both looked like raccoons from the pattern left on our faces from our polarized sunglasses! Both of us got a pretty good sun burn. The lesson to take away form this is to always remember to wear your sunscreen even if it is still winter and the weather is cold. This picture was taken the day after our fishing trip and you can easily see my sunburn.
